 "श्री गुरुदेव दत्त" 

                                                

       खरंतर हा विषय लिहावा का? असा प्रश्न मला पडला होता. पण कदाचित महाराजांची  अशीच प्रेरणा असेल म्हणून हे लिहण्याचे धाडस करत आहे. 

    ज्याच्या त्याच्या धारणा, श्रद्धा योग्यच असतात, त्याबाबत मला प्रचंड आदर आहेच. प्रत्येकाची श्रद्धास्थाने ही वेगवेगळी असतात, त्यामुळे कुणाच्याही श्रद्धा नि समजुतींना धक्का न लावता, मला "श्री गुरुदेव दत्त" या विषयावर नक्कीच काही तरी चांगले लिहता येईल अशी माझी मनोदेवता मला सांगत असल्याने माझ्या अल्प मतीने हा एक प्रयत्न करत आहे. लहानपणापासून आमच्या घरात गुरु परंपरा आली आहे. ती आज पर्यंत तशीच टिकून आहे.

       " काय रे? उपासना तुम्हाला हवी आहे की, तुमच्या बाबांना ? तुम्ही नियमित करणार ना उपासना? म्हणजे तुमच्या बाबांची इच्छा आहे म्हणून उपासना नाही ना घेत?  असे प्रश्न विचारून १४-१५ वर्षे वयाच्या आम्हाला प.पू.श्री विष्णु महाराज पारनेरकर यांनी उपासना दिली. जी कधीही खंड न पडता सुरू आहे. याचे फळ, बळ, सामर्थ्य किती आहे हे मागील अनेक प्रसंगातून जाताना जाणवले. ज्या ज्या अडचणी, संकटे, आली त्यांना तोंड देण्यासाठी मनाचा संयम आणि शांतता ठेऊन मार्ग काढता आला हे माझ्या उपासनेचे सार मी मानतो .

    पुण्यात आलो तेव्हा पहिल्यांदा कमला नेहरू पार्क जवळील दत्त मंदिरात दर्शनासाठी गेलो. सुंदर रेखीव मंदिर!  गाभाऱ्यात लहानशी दत्त मूर्ती आहे. या मूर्तीचे रूप खूप लोभस आहे...रेखीव लहान मूर्ती, प्रसन्न आणि सात्विक भाव, गाभाऱ्यातील शांतता, गळ्यात नाजूक,सुबक, बटबटीत नसलेले सोन्याचे दागिने आणि गळ्यातील निशिगंधाचा हार या सगळ्यामुळे मूर्तीला शोभा तर आलीच होती पण त्यातील देवत्व माझ्या मनाला व्यापत होते. मूर्ती समोर छोट्या पादुका आहेत, त्यावर कायम अष्टगंध लावलेलं असतं. त्याचा सुवास अजून ही माझ्या मनात दरवळतो आहे...

    

    आज दत्त महाराजांच्या कृपेने गिरनारला जाता येते......तेव्हा पहिल्या पायरीची अशीच अष्टगंधाने पूजा केली की तो सुवास मनाला प्रचंड शांत करतो. या दत्त मंदिरात अखंड नामस्मरण सुरू असते. मंदिरातील पूर्वीचे बांधकाम आता बरेच बदलले आहे. काळानुरुप त्यात अनेक बदल झाले.पण दत्त मूर्ती, त्यांचे अलंकार, अष्टगंध आणि सुंदर निशिगंधाचा हार अजून मी पहिल्यांदा पाहिले तसेच आहे. विद्यार्थी दशेत हे मंदिर माझ्यासाठी विसाव्याचे ठिकाणं होते.

    नंतर जेव्हा श्री गुरुचरित्र वाचायला लागलो तेव्हा दत्त संप्रदाय, दत्त सेवाभाव, त्याचे काय महत्व आहे हे अजून जाणवायला लागले. आज ही दत्त महाराजांच्या बद्दल अभ्यास, वाचन, मनन सुरू आहेच. पण त्यांच्या बाबतीत आदर, श्रद्धा, भावनिक गुंतवणूक ही खूप जास्त आहे.

                                        

    माझी हीच धारणा आहे की "करणारे ते, आपण फक्त निमित्त" आणि हाच विचार अनेक वर्षांपासून मनात रुजल्यामुळे...चांगले होवो, वाईट होवो तरी त्याकडे पाहण्याची दृष्टी पूर्णतः बदलून गेलेली आहे.श्री गुरू महाराजांची भक्ती, श्री गुरूचरित्राचे पारायण, गिरिनारची वारी यावर अजून खूप बोलता येईल पण मला माझी मर्यादा माहीत आहे...त्यामुळे आता थांबतो. कारण याची फक्त अनुभूतीच घ्यावी लागते. पहिल्या पावसातील मातीचा सुगंध हा शब्दात सांगणे कठीण आहे तसेच काहीसे माझे श्री दत्त महाराजांबाबत होते.

    Should this topic really be written? I had such a question. But perhaps Maharaj has the same inspiration so he is daring to write this.

    I have a lot of respect for those whose beliefs are right. Everyone's beliefs are different, so without disturbing anyone's beliefs, my mentality is telling me that I can definitely write something better on the subject of "Shri Gurudev Dutt", so I am making this one with my little opinion. Guru tradition has been in our house since childhood. It has survived to this day.

 Shri Vishnu Maharaj Parnerkar gave us worship at the age of 14-15 by asking such questions: The essence of my worship is that I have been able to find a way out of many difficulties and calamities with restraint and peace of mind.

    When we came to Pune, we first visited the Datta Temple near Kamala Nehru Park. Beautiful Rekhiv Temple! There is a small idol of Datta in the temple. The form of this idol is very greedy ... linear small idol, happy and sattvic mood, serenity in the womb, delicate, beautiful, unadulterated gold ornaments around the neck and the necklace of tuberose around the neck made the idol beautiful but the divinity in it occupied my mind. There are small shoes in front of the idol, which is always covered with Ashtagandha. Its fragrance is still lingering in my mind ...

Today, by the grace of Datta Maharaj, one can go to Girnar ...... then the first step is worshiped with the same Ashtagandha that the fragrance calms the mind immensely. In this Datta temple, continuous remembrance of the name begins. The earlier construction of the temple has now changed a lot. There have been many changes in it over time. As a student, this temple was a resting place for me.

    Later, when I started reading Shri Gurucharitra, I started to realize the importance of Datta Sampradaya, Datta Sevabhav. Today we are studying, reading and meditating about Datta Maharaj. But in their case, respect, faith, emotional investment is too much.

My belief is that "those who do it, you are just an excuse" and this idea has been ingrained in my mind for many years ... for better or for worse, the way of looking at it has completely changed. Talk about rubbing salt in my wounds - d'oh! Because you just have to experience it. It is difficult to put into words the fragrance of the soil in the first rain and something like that happened to me about Shri Dutt Maharaj.
